Dr Susanna Galea-Singer provides leadership, innovation and strategic direction to the delivery of addiction and mental healthcare. “Making a difference in individuals & families affected by addiction or mental health problems” is what drives Susanna’s passion and expertise. Dr Susanna Galea-Singer is known for her ability to bring together different disciplines and organizations to work towards the goal of ‘improving the outcomes for those affected by addictions or mental health’. Susanna is a psychiatrist and specialist in addictive behaviour. She is a Board member and Chair of the Education Committee at the International Society of Addiction Medicine; Co-Chair of the Scottish Faculty of Addictions, Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK; Clinical Lead at NHS Fife Addiction Services; and, the Clinical Innovation Champion at NHS Fife. She has contributed to the improvement of mental health and addictions through implementing innovation and sustainable changes, In her current role, she continues to drive innovation and improvement at national and international levels.
